Carnet de Visage" exhibition at the Aliénor Prouvost gallery in Brussels

After Paris and La Rochelle, the ALIÉNOR PROUVOST gallery is heading to Brussels for an exhibition of Jika's "Carnet de Visage" volume 1 and her illuminated woodcut portraits from 4 to 16 November 2022.

After several years working in modern art in Paris, ALIÉNOR PROUVOST decided to make her dream come true and set up her own gallery in the heart of the European capital. In March 2019, she will open her doors at 64, rue Washington in the Châtelain district. Galerie Aliénor Prouvost mainly explores post-war movements, but is also very interested in contemporary art. Its aim is to democratise art, disseminate it and make it accessible to as many people as possible. For post-war artists, it often presents works on paper, so that young collectors can find the same price ranges from one exhibition to the next, from 25 euros to 15,000 euros. For artists who are already highly regarded, she also works as a broker and tries to find you the work that most closely matches your wishes. The gallery only works directly with artists, artists' beneficiaries or foundations to offer exclusive and unique content. Through these partnerships, the gallery makes a long-term commitment to contributing to the development of their works. Committed to a contemporary vision of its role, the gallery helps to rethink the history of art, and to sharpen the eye - for everyone.
