MASKS EXHIBITION Loo & Lou Gallery

The idea of this exhibition is that it should become a travelling exhibition in order to highlight the work of Grillon's masks but also to make visitors aware of a psycho-sociological reflection on our society.

The change towards a masked virtual world, a globalised world where cultural identity evolves behind masks imposed by a real and virtual system, a bit like a game of actors, like a game of masks! At a time of globalisation when questions are being asked about cultural identity, the mask game leads to a real reflection on the search for man's identity beyond the different cultures and structures of consciousness.

The "boite à masques" exhibition could also be displayed in various places symbolic of contemporary art and theatre. Quatre couleurs wishes to support this exhibition as part of its cultural action, since it defends values that it holds dear. Alexandre Mehring, Grillon's son, would like to donate his masks to a museum once the "mask box" experiment is completed.

The MASKS exhibition created by GRILLON will be on show from 22 to 27 March from 11am to 7pm. Au Loo and Lou gallery, 45 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris

The idea of this exhibition is that it becomes itinerant to highlight the work of Grillon masks but also to sensitize the visitors to a psycho-sociological reflection of our society.

Change to a hidden virtual world, a globalized land where cultural identity evolves behind masks imposed by a real and virtual system, a bit like a game of actors, like a set of masks!

In the age of globalization, where the cultural identity is questioned, the mask game brings a real reflection on the search for the identity of man beyond the different cultures and structures of consciousness. nThe exhibition "box masks" could also be exhibited in different symbolic places of contemporary art and drama.

The association 4 colors wishes to support this exhibition in its cultural action since it defends values which are dear to her: those of the transversality of the arts (theater masks which are also sculptures, paintings), cultural identity, relationship to the body, theatricality, uniqueness.

Alexandre Mehring, son of Grillon, would like to donate his masks to a museum once the experience of "The mask box" completed.
