Japanese writer Kyoko Murakami comes to Paris to meet the "mythical Parisian women" and discover the secret of their lifestyle, which she hopes will serve as inspiration for the main character of her next novel. This literary and sentimental saga is also an attempt by Kyoko to emancipate herself from a still misogynistic Japanese society.
