Conference at the Rueil Malmaison model-making school

The quatre couleurs association was delighted to take part in a conference on "artisan-designer" craftsmanship with students from Nanterre's BTS in fashion and clothing, under the guidance of their teacher Nadege Carnelos.

The conference was attended by professionals representing design made in France: furniture, stage costumes, tailors and brand curators.

Speakers included Francois Maleval, an architect and designer, Claire Chataigner, a fashion designer, Nadege Carnelos, a BTS teacher at Lycée Louise Michel, and Delphine Garnier, president of the Quatre Couleurs association. Following the conference, the students put on a fashion show highlighting French craftsmanship.

The Chateau de Malmaison in the heart of Reuil Malmaison is steeped in history. For centuries, some of the greatest names in French history have owned the estate, from Henri d'Aguesseau to Josephine de Beauharnais, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte.
