B&W parade presents lighting by Gwenaëlle Chassin

In 2004, after a career in the audiovisual industry, Gwenaëlle Chassin de Kergommeaux turned to crafts and founded her own interior design brand.

She designs furniture, lamps, paintings, fabrics and home accessories. A harmonious blend of noble materials, craftsmanship and design, each creation is decorated with materials such as lacquer, eggshell, shagreen prints, gold leaf and leather.

Black&White inspiration: There's nothing like deep black to take you off into your dreams, and nothing like luminous white to open up your mind.

Her first creations were based on antique furniture, blending its history with contemporary lines. Collecting furniture from the 1920s to the 1960s, she drew inspiration from the lines of the furniture until she succeeded in interacting with the shapes by questioning their function. The piece then becomes an Object.

By adding materials to furniture, such as lacquer with eggshell inlay, shagreen prints, gold leaf, fabric and leather, she reinterprets and extends the object to create unique pieces.

Since then, his field of vision has expanded to include the creation of lamps, paintings, wall decorations, fabrics and accessories for the home.

Since then, she has worked with architects on interior spaces for professionals and private individuals.
