Very nice evening at the opening of the Bernard Buffet exhibition at the Diane de Polignac gallery. Paintings with cold colours, with characters with poignant graphic features, mix frenzy and abandon. A contrast with his silent seaside landscapes.
A late retrospective for a painter who had been forgotten for too long. Victim of his success, his work had been devalued. A must-see!
