Quatre Couleurs has always sought to build bridges between nature, art, craft and fashion by supporting local, ethical manufacturing.
"Creating a plant-based event that brings together passionate, ethical and committed craftspeople is a dream come true... This wonderful adventure was born of a meeting with Dilan, the manager of the tea room on rue de Saintonge, who immediately introduced me to Nathalie Cotte, the founder. I was touched by the humanity that emanates from this brightly coloured tea room. Moved by the passion with which the teas are presented and prepared. Seduced by the philosophy of Human and Tea, where the creations are named to evoke the meeting of a human being and a tea, like a rendezvous with Mary, Earl grey and lavender flowers for a little moment of happiness stolen from the frenzy of the world. It all fitted in with the values of the Association Quatre Couleurs. So why not bring other artisans alongside them? I first thought of Arnault and Jeanne from Officine Botanique, who create skin care elixirs based on buds, and then Laure, who has chosen a sustainable and ethical approach with raw cocoa. Their respect for culture, the environment and people are the qualities shared by these three young craft businesses. It was obvious to me that tea, cocoa, wild-gathered plants and buds needed to come together... and so Plant Encounters was born!

ABOUT HUMAN & TEA
"When we created the Human & Tea brand, we had in mind the promise of a moment of happiness in every cup of tea. It was pleasure above all that guided us. Because there is as much diversity in tea as there is in humanity, with Human & Tea we like to believe that we can find a tea that will please everyone for every stolen moment".
Tea as a reinvented art of living
For the creators of Human & Tea, Daniel and Nathalie Cotte, "tea is a very rich universe that combines sophistication and simplicity. More than just a sensory experience, it's an art of living, an attitude, almost a philosophy. He adds: "Although tea is thousands of years old, it is also fiercely contemporary. Hot or iced, classic or reinvented, Lemonfresco, Teapuccino, matcha or chai latté, tea is a divine surprise where you least expect it.
So, when asked why they were launching a new brand of tea in France, the creators replied with the deep conviction that there was still more to say. They felt that the product and its simple ritual were missing that little touch of poetry. With Human & Tea, they also wanted to give tea a more contemporary and universal flavour, to open it up to more people and make it part of more lives.
The shop on rue de Saintonge
It's in a shop with a history and a soul that the two designers have chosen to share their passion for tea. It was here that the Comme un roman bookshop used to operate, before moving to nearby rue de Bretagne. Books and tea have always gone hand in hand, and they were delighted to learn this after the purchase. As you enter, the astonishing olfactory table is an invitation to a sensory journey through the six families of teas.
Because life is more beautiful with a cup of tea

How is our chocolate made?
After being fermented and dried, the beans are not roasted but simply crushed and ground at a low temperature (below 42°C) to retain their precious nutrients and original flavour.
Organic and fair-trade wholegrain coconut blossom sugar sweetens our chocolate, adding light caramel notes. Sometimes it's another healthy alternative to refined white sugar that we'd like you to discover, always a low glycaemic index whole sugar with taste and nutritional value.
The whole thing is handcrafted in France.
Where do our beans come from?
Our beans come from certified organic and fair trade crops. From specific plots of land. Their origin varies according to the season. To choose them, we rely on their aromatic quality, appearance, smell and taste, as well as their nutritional quality.
The aim of Carrés Sauvages is to nourish both your taste buds and every cell in your body, while respecting the earth.
ABOUT THE BOTANICAL DISPENSARY
At the age of 23, Arnault contracted a violent infectious disease, Lyme disease. After a long period of medical wandering and heavy antibiotic treatment, he decided at a very young age to turn to natural medicines.
Today, Arnault is a naturopath in the field, passionate about the medicinal and dietary aspects of wild plants and convinced that nature and mankind can be observed in their entirety. For him, good care starts with good practice. So, rather than pulling up roots, he wants to teach people how to pick, prevent and draw from nature, the shield of our health.
Jeanne, too, was diagnosed with a chronic inflammatory disease when she was just 18. Worn out by treatments and tired of finding no way out, it was her body's instinct that led her to choose nature as her remedy. Once she had regained her health, well-being in all its forms became her profession. Today she shares her expertise, inviting people to treat themselves differently.
L'Officine Botanique is a brand of 100% organic, natural food supplements from the wild in France.
L'Officine Botanique is the fruit of these two very personal experiences, an obvious exchange of natural know-how. Their ambition is clear: through their brand, Arnault and Jeanne want to promote respect for living things.
Perfectly assimilable
Our plants are grown in their native biotopes and contain a higher concentration of active ingredients than most other preparations. For optimum extraction, our buds and plants are macerated directly at the places where they are harvested.
Our triple extraction process makes it possible to obtain all the molecules, bringing together the plant's totum, i.e. all its active ingredients.
ABOUT JEREMY KAPONE
Born in Paris on 16 April 1990, he began drawing at the age of 5. He drew his first comics at the age of 8, and gradually developed a passion for calligraphy and portraiture. At Lycée Claude Monet, he 'avoided' art classes for three years, and at 16/17 began his first concerts, recordings and film shoots as an actor.
It was during a shoot in Ecuador in the Amazon rainforest that he began to take portraits during the long hours of waiting required by the shoot.
The idea of CARNET DE VISAGE is taking shape: a travel notebook that captures encounters, a face, its story, its energy. With his "Kunst & Papier" notebook and his Pentel calligraphy pen, JK developed this portrait practice as a way of life, of meeting and sharing to probe the human soul. He realised that this would be his life's work. Ten years on, he has collected almost 400 portraits - all taken during his travels, always in the same format and with the same calligraphy pen, in black and white and Indian ink. The first volume of Carnet de Visage will be published alongside the 4 Couleurs Association, of which the artist is an ambassador. Through this unique project, JK expresses, in his own way, freedom, adventure and independence, and offers us a vibrant view of humanity.
You can discover two of her works as well as the art book "Carnet de Visage" at Human and Tea.
"A sensory encounter based around 3 French brands that pay tribute to the beauty of a nourishing, appreciated and preserved nature". Laure, founder of Carrés sauvages.
"Plant encounters or the love of the earth, whatever its treasure! An invitation to realise that we are all one." - Arnault and Jeanne, founders of the Officine Botanique
"What if plants made us more human? - Nathalie and Daniel Cotte, founders of Human and Tea
